COLLEEN LAW<\/h4>

Clinical and Neuropsychologist \/\u00a0 Kliniese en Neurosielkundige<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/h4>
Colleen\u00a0holds\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span>Masters<\/span> degree in Clinical Psychology <\/span>and a <\/span>Masters <\/span>degree in Research <\/span>Psychology, both of which were obtained cum laude from Potchefstroom University<\/span> (2004, 2005). <\/span>Colleen holds a dual registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist <\/span>and a Neuropsychologist. <\/span>She completed an internship at <\/span>Witrand <\/span>Psychiatric Hospital <\/span>and the Institute for Psychotherapy at Potchefstroom University in 2005. Since <\/span>then<\/span> Colleen has been employed at Addington Hospital (affiliated to the University of Kwa<\/span>–<\/span>Zulu Natal), where from 2009 she headed up the Psychology Unit. In addition to<\/span> providing psychotherapy and psychometric assessment services to the general public,<\/span> she also lectured Applied Psychology to medical students at Nelson Mandela Medical<\/span> School, and<\/span> trained and supervised clinical psychology interns and trauma counsellors.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div>

Colleen\u00a0has\u00a0nearly\u00a020\u00a0<\/span>years\u00a0experience<\/span> as a <\/span>Psychologist<\/span>.\u00a0 In addition to her private <\/span>practice<\/span> she has provided Neuropsychology services to Groote Schuur Hospital and <\/span>Cape Town Neuropsychology at Vincent Pallotti Hospital.\u00a0\u00a0She has also lectured <\/span>Neuropsychology to Clinical Psychology <\/span>masters <\/span>students at University of Cape Town as<\/span> well as trained and supervised clinical and neuropsychology interns.<\/span><\/div><\/div>

Colleen draws eclectically from a range of therapeutic modalities <\/span>in\u00a0order\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0suit\u00a0the<\/span> \u00a0<\/span>unique needs of each individual. <\/span>Colleen has completed level 1 BWRT training through <\/span>the BWRT Institute. She has also completed comprehensive DBT training. KAYLON WEPPELMAN (SOGULA)<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/div>

Clinical\u00a0Psychologist<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4><\/div>
Kaylon is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with Master\u2019s degrees in Clinical Psychology and <\/span>Research Psychology from Stellenbosch University. She completed her clinica internship at <\/span>Tygerberg Hospital and Stikland Hospital, where she worked across a range of settings,<\/span> including medical psychology, DBT group therapy, substance use rehabilitation, and child <\/span>and adolescent psychological services. She went on to complete her community service year<\/span> at Lentegeur Psychiatric Hospital, where she worked specifically in the Child & Family<\/span> Unit – an experience that deepened her interest in developmental psychology, relationship<\/span> dynamics, and family systems.<\/span><\/div>

Kaylon\u2019s professional interests include working with children and adolescents, as well as<\/span> supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating emotional or relational challenges.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div>

INGRID LAMPRECHT<\/h4>

Educational Psychologist \/ Opvoedkundige Sielkundige<\/h4><\/div>

With two decades of experience as an educational psychologist, Ingrid has specialised in consulting within both private practice and school settings. As a practitioner, she is detail orientated and therefore enjoys the analytical and diagnostic component of assessments. In her therapeutic work she finds inspiration in the resilience children demonstrate, time and time again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Ingrid studied at RAU (University of Johannesburg), where she completed a BA. Ed in 1998, followed by a B. Ed Educational Psychology (Honours) in 1999. She completed her internship at the RAU Institute for Child and Adult Guidance and obtained her Masters Degree in Educational Psychology in 2003. Her additional training includes Fundamental and Intermediate Intensive Training in Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, as well as Fundamental Intensive Training in Eye Movement Integration Therapy with the Milton H. Erickson Institute of South Africa (MEISA). She actively participates in professional development and has keenly attended conferences and courses presented by the Solution Focused Institute of South Africa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Maintaining concurrent consulting roles in schools and private practice has enabled her to work with diverse age groups, attending to the emotional and\/or unique learning needs of preschoolers, primary and high school students, as well as university students. Her expertise includes managing multi-disciplinary teams, a role she has fulfilled in private, public and international schools. While she offers a range of educational psychological services, she specialises in psychotherapy, play therapy, and psycho-educational assessments.<\/p>

Nazneen Firfirey is a Clinical Psychologist who graduated with her Masters Degree in<\/span>\u00a0 Clinical Psychology from Stellenbosch University in 2009. She has spent the last 13 years <\/span>working as a Military Psychologist for the South African National Defence Force.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>

She\u00a0is\u00a0passionate\u00a0about\u00a0assisting\u00a0individuals\u00a0return\u00a0to\u00a0their\u00a0optimal\u00a0level\u00a0of\u00a0functioning<\/span> and create positive change in their lives. Nazneen is completing her third-year studies in<\/span> Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy, which focuses on emotional intimacy and<\/span> vulnerability and which has its foundation in attachment-based theory. ELIZA MPOLOKENG<\/h4>

Eliza Mpolokeng obtained her Master of Social Science in Clinical Psychology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2018. She has prior experience as an Employee Wellness practitioner in the private sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Eliza\u2019s clinical experience has equipped her the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Eliza completed her internship with the Department of Health and her community service with the Department of Correctional Service, providing services to offenders. She then briefly worked in the Department of Social Development offering psychological services to children and their families. Eliza then joined the Department of Defence as a military psychologist.<\/p>

Eliza\u2019s interests include working with individuals, couples and groups on varied issues such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, bereavement, marital problems, personalities and more.<\/p>

Eliza is passionate about helping her clients navigate life\u2019s difficulties and overcoming mental health challenges. She offers evidence-based intervention for both brief and long-term therapy. She uses Eclectic therapy\u00a0approach tailored for patient\u2019s individual needs. Emily van der Westhuizen holds a BA Honours Degree in Psychology and is a Registered Psychometrist in the category Independent Practice with the Health Professions Counsel of South Africa (Practice Number PMT 0090476). Emily completed her undergraduate bachelor\u2019s degree at Stellenbosch University, her postgraduate honours degree in psychology from the University of South Africa and completed her BPsych Equivalent psychometry training through Stellenbosch University. She completed her internship at a busy private practice in Claremont, Cape Town, where she gained exposure to educational, clinical, neuropsychological and medico-legal assessment whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team. She has over three years of experience in assessment working with children, adolescents and adults.<\/p>

In addition to her formal psychology training, Emily also has experience and training in Crisis Counselling, Play Therapy, the AIMS method of working with autistic children, and the Phono-Graphix reading therapy programme. She is also involved in tertiary level tutoring in the area of psychology. In her capacity at the practice, she works alongside Colleen on cases involving psychometric assessment with children, adolescents and adults.<\/p>

Tayla is a Registered Counsellor with two Honours degrees in Psychology, both completed with distinction at Cornerstone Institute. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families, offering a supportive and collaborative space for growth, understanding, and meaningful change.<\/p>

She has experience working with a range of emotional and developmental challenges, including trauma, grief, anxiety, self-esteem, motivation, self-care, and stress management. Tayla supports clients in navigating life transitions, emotional difficulties, and personal growth in a compassionate and respectful manner.<\/p>

Tayla takes a client-centred, eclectic approach to counselling, drawing on a range of evidence-based techniques to respond to each client\u2019s unique needs and goals. She values equality, respect, and client\u2013practitioner collaboration, and believes in working alongside clients to foster insight, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.<\/p>

She has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents and is trained in play-based therapy techniques, supporting children and pre-adolescents in expressing themselves in safe and developmentally appropriate ways. Tayla is also trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed practices, assisting adolescents and adults to build mindfulness, regulate emotions, strengthen communication, and develop effective coping skills.<\/p>

Tayla completed her practical training at the Metro North Education District, where she worked across various primary and high schools. This experience supported her work in guiding caregivers and families, collaborating with educators, and assisting learners within educational systems as part of multidisciplinary teams.<\/p>
